Seeking an Account Executive

Join us at Metaverse Mod Squad! Some of the world’s best brands in retail, entertainment, gaming, and publishing hire us to be their engagement specialists: moderating content, chatting with customers, managing communities, and buzzing in social media.
We’re looking for a key addition to our business development team to take advantage of our expanding market share, represent us at pitches, conferences, and events, and chase down and acquire new leads. You will also have the opportunity to cross-sell additional services to existing clients, evaluate our sales approach and pricing, and work closely with the company’s account and project managers for project launches and ongoing client care.
Industry expertise and connections are a must. We’ll give preference to candidates in California or New York but we’re considering applicants from other technology and media hubs as well.
Skills, Experience and Education:
- Bachelors degree
- Online media industry experience, such e-commerce, social media, contact center support
- Sales experience or a background involving extensive networking
- Ability to put together a presentation and rock it
- Desire to solve problems with creative solutions
- Ability to travel on short notice
- Talent for setting and exceeding sales goals
- Straight shooter with a shared disdain for business clichés (more info here)
