Reunited: ModSquad and Extra Life!
You may know that we like to play video games. Many of our clients are in the video game industry, and we’re avid gamers. We don’t mess around. Did you also know that a core tenet of our company mission is to give back?
We are gearing up for this weekend’s Extra Life 24-Hour Charity Marathon. 100% of the proceeds from this global event will go toward The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate children than doing one of the things they love best – playing video games.
The Children’s Miracle Network is a tremendous organization, treating thousands of children who suffer from serious diseases such as cancer and cystic fibrosis. The Network also treats children who’ve been injured in serious accidents. Locally, our team will be supporting UC Davis Children’s Hospital.
Starting at 8 am on November 7 for 24 hours, we will be playing video games from our Sacramento office. All of the fun will be livestreamed on our Twitch channel. To boot, we will be playing vintage Playstation games to celebrate Playstation’s 20th anniversary. Who wouldn’t want to watch that action?
There are many ways you can participate with us!
- Tune in throughout the 24 hours on our Twitch channel. Say hi!
- Donate anything you can to The Children’s Miracle Network.
- Follow us on Twitter and Instagram for tips and real-time hijinks from our office.
Thank you to Extra Life for welcoming our team to participate again this year, and good luck to the other players. Most important, to all the kids out there who need a little boost with your medical care, we have your back.
