Protip: We’re Higher Primates – So Use Tools

Managing multiple social media network channels, each with their own secure login (er… you ARE using a different account name and password for each of your product’s channels, right?) can become an absolute nightmare. If you are the community manager for a company with multiple products, the problem can get out of control in a real hurry. And if you maintain personal feeds for personal and business reasons, you could spend all day being a twit. Tweeter. Whatever.
The point is, there are tools to manage this process. I’m personally a fan of Hootsuite, but there are others. If you find yourself with six sticky notes on your monitor to help you execute a single task, look for a tool to manage the problem.
