Project Manager of the Quarter – December 2022
Tauna R. is a fan through and through. A fan of football and sports primarily, she brings her passion for the game to work. One part coach, one part cheerleader, and 100% Project Manager (PM), she blends experience with a drive for success that pushes her team to be the best in the game.
Her approach ensures a spirit of self-improvement and is carried into her work every day. Like any athlete, she is a firm believer in working through the uncomfortable. She views herself as her team’s coach. This includes knowing what her Mods need to help them grow.
But it’s not all work and no play.
“I want to make sure I’m bringing my Mods together and providing a really fun and engaging work environment.” She explains, “It’s important to me that they know it is okay to have fun at work. There is no rule that says work has to be boring or stressful.”
And just like a good coach, she has experience to back her word. With 7+ years of working remotely before joining ModSquad, her expertise in managing and launching large projects made her stand out from the crowd from the start. In fact, she’s been with us for just over a year, and is already getting kudos!
Before joining ModSquad, Tauna worked in Customer Service, directing large teams for Fortune 500 companies. As she looked for her next role, she sought a job that celebrated leadership at every level. She found that and more at ModSquad.
Of course, any story of teamwork is incomplete without word from teammates. Here’s what her cheerleaders, we mean colleagues, have to say!
“She’s the primary PM on our project and we just had an AMAZING ramp up. Obviously it’s a team effort, but she was a huge part of why it went so well this year. She manages her team well, is knowledgeable about customer support, dedicated to ModSquad, and passionate about client satisfaction.
Finance even commented that the Dashboard last month was the best they’ve ever seen.” – Jason F.
“She has a talent for launching and managing big projects. She not only ensures that the client remains happy, but she also takes the time to meet with her leads 1:1 on a monthly basis, as well as her management team. She truly cares about structuring a project to be run like a well oiled machine. I can go on and on about how great she is but no words can ever really describe the asset that she really is for ModSquad.” – Theresa G.
“Knowing the scale of her project and how successful the client’s recent rush season has been, she deserves this recognition. Great job!” – Stephen D.
