E3: ModSquad Gears Up for the Video Game Extravaganza
Another June is here and with it, another E3! Despite quite a few changes over the years, the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) continues to be a cornerstone show of the game industry. It’s always a great opportunity for us to catch up with colleagues, meet new people, and get a sense of what the next year or so has in store for the video game community.
There’s always, of course, all the games being shown off through large-scale announcements, press conferences, and related hoopla. In many ways, E3 can be a barometer of what many companies feel will be important trends over the next year — or at least through the holiday season. Whether it’s an emphasis on esports or VR via a major release, or the reveal of a new console generation, E3 is an event that in many ways sets the tone for the game industry. Whether you’re an industry player behind the scenes or an avid player in front of a screen, E3 is the place to be if you want to rub shoulders with 15,000 like-minded folks.
ModSquad has worked with game companies since our inception. The industry is in our company DNA, so to speak, and we have many veterans of the game business on our team. We’d be at the show anyway; it’s just who we are!
Shows like E3, GDC, Gamescom, PAX, and others are important to ModSquad. Getting together with current clients and meeting new people helps us keep up with the industry in general and provide our clients with the best possible service. Plus, we’re always happy to meet up for dinner and drinks!
I hope to see you at E3, or one of the other great shows this year as we kick off another conference season. If you’re going to be at the show, drop me a line — I’d love to chat!
