Mod of the Month — March 2022
There’s no denying that our Mods know how to keep people cheering for more. This March, we’re highlighting a Mod who delights our clients and their customers with her friendly support interactions. Without further ado, let’s introduce this month’s featured Mod, Courtney G.
Courtney’s journey to ModSquad is truly a one of a kind story. For six years, she lived a nomadic life and worked with a traveling performance troupe. After that and other jobs, the pandemic prompted Courtney to make a shift in her life. She wanted an opportunity with enough flexibility to utilize her dynamic customer support skills while working from home. ModSquad checked all of these boxes. Luckily for us, Courtney applied and was invited to become a Mod.
An expert in phone support, she puts customers first with her empathetic approach. “I’m a people person,” Courtney explains. “My personality really shines on calls. I love this job and the customers. I am the client’s first line of communication with their customers, so I try to be as close to perfect as possible.”
Whether she’s assisting customers with questions about solar generators or self-publishing projects, Courtney has mastered the clients’ product information as well as the art of providing superior CX. This is evident in the great feedback she earned on a recent engagement: “I received 100s on my QA for all four weeks in the month. And it’s not an easy project.”
Being able to work her magic from home is crucial to Courtney, who cares for animals in need. Her personal animal rescue currently includes ten dogs, six cats, and six horses. Obviously, to care for so many animals, Courtney has to have a big heart. That’s something that our clients’ customers know well after interacting with her.
Courtney’s winning personality also strikes a chord with her colleagues. They’d love to clone Courtney and have more of her to go around, as these testimonials make clear:
“Courtney is on two of my projects and never fails to impress. The clients love her work and have said on more than one occasion that they are very happy with the way she handles customers. Courtney listens to the issue and uses her resources to assist.”
— Robert R., Project Manager
“Courtney has a great positive attitude, and that does not go unnoticed with the customers she helps. She’ll always give you 100%. She’s just a joy to work with.”
— Janice B., Project Manager
“Courtney is so sweet to our customers. Anytime someone joins the project, she’ll offer them tips and tricks on how to succeed. I absolutely love her!”
— Kristy P., Assistant Project Manager
“Courtney is always the first to jump in and help out.”
— Jason R., Project Manager
Before we wrap things up, we wanted to play a quick game of Two Truths and a Lie. Which of these three statements from Courtney is not true?
“I have four sons and two grandsons.”
“I’ve lived in 32 states.”
“I once ran into Johnny Depp riding his bike on a beach in South Texas.”
Do you have your guess? The truth is, Courtney wasn’t the one to run into Johnny Depp — it was actually her mother! Her mother’s dog chased Depp while he was bike riding. As they parted, the actor said he liked Courtney’s mom’s dog, to which she replied, “Liar!”
