Life Imitates Art — A ModSquad Creativity Contest

We were in awe of the creativity on display by everyday folks who contributed to what’s become known as the Getty Museum Challenge. In a fun, viral event that was actually inspired by a challenge put out by the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, the Getty called on art fans sheltering in place to re-create some famous pieces from the museum’s collection. The trick was that these crafty individuals had to interpret those works of art using whatever models, costumes, and props they could find around their homes. The results were very entertaining.

Never one to pass up an opportunity to have some fun of our own, we had an internal ModSquad contest to see what kind of similar magic our squad could conjure up. We challenged the ModSquad community to perform the same kind of visual trickery. And we were not disappointed — there seems to be no limit to the creativity of our bright, imaginative people. We’re delighted to share some of the contributions, starting with our three contest winners.
