ModSquad Wins Second Consecutive Gold Status at the Golden Bridge Awards®

ModSquad

We’re not ones to pat ourselves on the back, but it feels awfully good when someone else does it. So we’re feeling mighty fine right about now; for the second year in a row, we’ve been awarded Gold status in the 2020 Golden Bridge Awards®. This time around, ModSquad was recognized in the Best Social Good Campaign, Twitter category. The designation comes in acknowledgement of the work ModSquad performs with partner Vali Communications on behalf of client Udderly Smooth, a manufacturer of skin creams and lotions.

This achievement is all thanks to our fantastic Mods. It’s well known that Mods are matched to projects based on their background, language, and skills. But what’s more, ModSquad finds Mods with a genuine passion for the brand or product, and who just get the client’s audience. Such was the case with Udderly Smooth, a consumer product for which our Mods are extremely enthusiastic. Coupled with their experience in social media, the Mods on this project were primed to showcase the client’s product in the best possible light. They proposed a plan to identify essential workers who’d shared stories on Twitter about dry hands due to excess washing during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mods identified dozens of potential recipients and reached out to them with words of appreciation and empathy. In the end, dozens of essential workers received care packages from Udderly Smooth; the vast majority were healthcare workers, but there were others as well — one went to a zookeeper, another to a firefighter. The initiative was considered a great success and a huge morale boost to boot.

This demonstration of consideration and empathy showcased the Mods’ ability to bring the human touch to this social outreach plan. It also caught the judges’ imaginations at the Golden Bridge Awards. This program annually recognizes outstanding performances at the world’s leading public and private companies. Judges from a broad spectrum of industries worldwide determine the finalists and winners.

“We are honored to earn our second consecutive Gold status for the Golden Bridge Award” said Amy Pritchard, CEO and Founder of ModSquad. “It underscores the great work our Mods do on behalf of clients.”

We love it when the Mods’ hard work is recognized by industry peers and colleagues. When that work is done for a brand that’s supporting our essential workers and encouraging followers to help one another, it feels “udderly” great. What’s more, it’s golden.
